Painting in Acrylics

Since 1978, I have been painting landscapes, water- and seascapes, buildings, and other paintings in acrylics. Since 1996, I've had the pleasure of teaching acrylic painting, which has helped me gain even further insight into the medium.

Starting with the white surface of the masonite board or canvas, I apply acrylic paint through various stages of the process. This results in the final finished painting, which gives me great satisfaction as an artist.

Acrylic paints were developed for artists' use in 1955, and continue to grow in popularity. Acrylics are extremely durable, and are used by professional and amateur artists alike to express their artistic abilities in their paintings.
