The Mississauga Arts Council mission is "to foster and develop, support and champion a vibrant, dynamic arts community in the city of Mississauga through services and grants, to enrich the lives of its citizens." It is the most comprehensive resource for arts and entertainment information in the city of Mississauga.

Visual Arts Mississauga is a non-profit charitable organization founded in 1977. It operates the Springbank Arts Centre which is open to everyone for classes, workshops, group meetings and children's art camps. Members' exhibitions, Fine art and craft sales are held throughout the year.

The Central Ontario Art Association (COAA) is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing individual and group opportunities in art instruction, encouragement of art appreciation, pooling of efforts and resources, development of leadership in visual art and fostering inter-group co-operation and participation in visual arts.
